The UK songstress dives into the layers of love on her new album 'Love's Letter'
One of our absolute favorite voices in the current landscape of R&B comes from UK singer-songwriter Shaé Universe. This year, we had Shaé stop by YAMS HQ to deliver a Yam Session performance, and also talk to us on an episode of The Side Dish.
Her album ‘Love’s Letter’ is simplistic in the best way possible. It’s ten songs. It’s sincere. It’s reaffirming. It feels like a warm hug as the sun sets in the summertime. On the album, Shaé dissects all of the different layers of love (both good and bad, happy and sad). She has one feature on the project, and it’s from one of her idols and the absolute legend Lalah Hathaway on the song “More Than Enough.”
